All their witty, decidedly more adult Cat Modern designs are made in their San Francisco studio. Each piece is first painstakingly photo-etched out of a surgical-grade stainless steel sheet, then electropolished or gold-plated by a small crew of Bay Area artisans.

We have had many cats. We were down to one, he is named Micah , a Ragdoll. Our daughter was working in Utah for Best Friends Animal Shelter. She was in charge of the TNR program for that area. She loved it so much. She adopted a rescue dog and two special needs cats. The cats are Carl and Frisco. She is in heaven now and I know that she is watching us all as we grieve together. It is amazing how sensitive they all are. I am quite ill and I do not know how we would all make it without each other. We do not get out much, only doctors most of the time.
