This smart feeder monitors how much and when a pet eats, sending real-time updates directly to the pet owner’s phone. The new product also features integrated scales, which enable owners to provide accurate food portions to their pet at every meal.
Feeding behavior is a key indicator of health for pets, with a loss of appetite or change in feeding habits often being one of the first signs of illness. We rescued 2 kittens from the lot near us, and they seem to have associated food with happiness (it was a long 5 month process of learning trust 3 times a day in the cold, rain, and heat). One of them got REALLY big after her spay and we have no way of monitoring her food, given our schedules. We just had to take her in to the vet because her weight is causing issues (19 lbs!) , but we cant change much given our circumstances. I could really use a Surefeed Microchip Feeder Connect because one of my cats was just recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). A significant portion of the management for this condition is by feeding a hypoallergenic diet. Having a Surefeed would enable me to ensure that the appropriate feline ONLY would have access to the expensive therapeutic diet! Additionally, I could track her intake and adjust amounts as needed to maintain her ideal body weight.

Having this feeder would be fantastic to ensure she is the sole recipient of her age appropriate food, and to get the extra meals she requires without being harassed by curious cats. Wonderful peace of mind for me and for her too!!

We recently lost her brother Buddy to sudden heart failure and she’s the lone cat in the house, but we intend on fostering other cats in the next month. When new cats come into the house, she’ll be adjusting to their presence and vice-versa, but we need to make sure she eats enough, and that the fosters aren’t eating her food. My name is Rascal Cats and I could use a Surefeed Microchip Feeder Connect because I am a proud, big boned orange tabby, with passion for food. I have an unfortunate condition that causes calcium to accumulate in my bladder and once had to undergo emergency surgery to save my life as a result. I have been on a special diet for urinary stress ever since and am so fortunate to have not had another episode in the last 5 years. I admit, I am a bit decadent and I cry when my food bowl is empty or out of reach but my companion cat has grown a taste for my special food and will gobble it all up if it’s not put away immediately. My parents know that I am happiest when my food is left out during the day so I can graze but unfortunately, because of my companion, this is out of the question. Please help my family out with our food struggles! We have yet to find a solution that will make us all happy!

Our family could really use a Surefeed Microchip Feeder Connect because we have a special needs rescue that eats a special diet 6x a day that I weigh and my other two cats are obsessed with everything she does, including eating. One of my other two is a bully (terrorist really) and won’t let our rescue have even a feather of her own to play with. She won’t even let her have her own blankie. It’s literally why our rescue can’t have nice things lol, funny, but really not funny. Out rescue deserves nices things of her own too. This would make my life easier too and the data it captures would be very helpful for tracking her eating habits. How much and how often she eats is directly related to her FLUTD condition and perhaps the single biggest key to managing her urine ph. Figurng this out has literally saved her life as her prior owner was going to euthanize her for peeing outside the box. 🙁
