Author Bio
What started as a tribute to honor the memory of his beloved Sunny Girl turned into a consuming passion to help rescue shelter pets, especially cats. From cleaning kennels to finding foster placement for At-Risk cats, no task was too big or too trivial – all he knew was it was essential to helping the rescue efforts, and needed to be done. Christopher’s dedication to saving cats propelled him to Assistant Director of Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue, and from 2019-2021, he was the Foster/Adoption Manager for the New York branch of Louie’s Legacy, one of the country’s largest foster-based animal rescues. Chris and his wife, Catherine, have fostered more than 300 cats and kittens, including those with special needs and bottle-kittens. Having taken traumatized cats into his home, Christopher has gained valuable experience helping them overcome fears and behavioral challenges.
Currently, Christopher lives under the rule of twenty-four rescue cats, all while the doors of Hotel Mancuso remain open. Through years of faithful service, Christopher has clawed his way up the Cat World ladder, starting at the lowly rank of Can-Opener, he eventually earned the honor of being a loyal Servant of Rescue. Most recently, he was ordained as a “meowthpiece” of the felion gospel by the conclave of Overlords. Now, Christopher is on a mission to spread the good word to cat-acolytes as well as the heathen masses through his book. Having mentored countless new cat-fosters as well as providing guidance to adoptive homes, Christopher is opening his home and his heart to you.

for what it’s worth I don’t think there is a greater cat lover on the planet than me I have done foster work for the MSPCA in Massachusetts in the past I currently have eight rescued Persians or with special needs in one of them the ninth who is no longer with us with the first cat ever to have an open heart surgery outside of clinical research in the world at Michigan State University Veterinary Hospital and I took him all the way to Michigan for that and broke into 401(k) to give him his only chance at life which you did give him two years he never otherwise would’ve had
I’m a hands-on volunteer at two different shelters and they also have Stella references of people I’ve helped with their cats getting the medical care needed and or help needed to rehome

This book is a really good read. If you don’t know much about cats, you will become more educated. I would love a copy of your signed book. I am always open to new information on how to deal with problems that affect cats. I am 87 and have always had multiple cats, but the two I have now are really different. Belle was living in an Avocado orchard, being tormented by two small children, and then they added a pit bull dog to further her fright!
Catarina was a stray that had kittens and relied on the owner of a beauty shop to feed her whenever she made an appearance. Her kittens were trapped and rehomed, but Catarina was still left on her own. She developed a rapport with the owner, who realized winter was approaching and was concerned about her not having a safe, warm home. With help, they trapped Catarina, and had her spayed, microchipped and updated on all shots. When asked if I had room for another cat, I said of course, because Belle needed a friend. Well, six months down the line they are not friends. We have tried multiple ways to resolve the issue, rubbing each with the same towel, sprays, feeding in separate rooms, all to no avail! No matter what they think, they are both here to stay and hopefully will eventually get along! They are both about two, so many years ahead of them! I would love to have your book!
